Chris Boyle
Research Associate
University of Strathclyde
Chris is currently working on the Digital Medicines Manufacturing (DM2) project on Platform 1 – digitalisation. He aims to capture the varied data generated by researchers into a structured and FAIR (Findable Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable) database. Chris also works on applying deep learning image analysis to the task of particle characterisation – notably as part of the CMAC Hub Crystallisation Screening DataFactory.
Previously Chris worked on the CMAC Core Project on Multi-dimensional Particle Characterisation from in-situ sensors (MDPC). In this project he evaluated deep learning techniques for particle characterisation and compared against prior state of the art techniques and canonical measurements.
