Catriona currently has a dual role a) leading the support team, training development and delivery plans through Platform V (Network and Skills) of the Digital Medicines Manufacturing Research Centre (DM2) and b) managing the EPSRC International Centre to Centre Digital Design of Amorphous Pharmaceuticals project (DDMAP), in particular international collaborations, interactions and finances.
Catriona has a PhD in Salt Selection for Pharmaceutical Use from the University of Strathclyde with Dr Alan Kennedy and has spent her career since working at the interface of industry, academia and public sector. Prior to joining CMAC for the second time in 2022, after being involved in the early days from 2011-14, she held the role of Strategic Projects Manager for the Industrial Biotechnology Innovation Centre (IBioIC) where she developed extensive experience in the development, leading and management of multi-million-pound industry-led collaborative projects.
