Thomas’ PhD project is in the area of Machine Learning Methods for Accelerated Generative Equipment Design for New Medicines. Thomas’ interests include machine learning algorithms, computational fluid dynamics (CFD), simulation of fluid dynamics / virus inactivation, pharmaecutical research, and robotics.

Thomas graduated in mathematics with a BSc (Hons) and has prior machine learning knowledge using Tensorflow from dissertation. Prior knowledge in CFD and various other areas of maths, such as partial differential equations, statistics, Bayesian networks, and more.
