Jonny works as CMAC’s Technical Translation Manager working on the Centre’s innovation portfolio management and the industrial applications of its technology outputs. As part of CMAC’s commitment to providing exemplary translation to Industry, Jonny works with CMACs key stakeholders to gain value from their ongoing collaborations with the Centre. His research interests are materials science, Drug Product and autonomous systems for manufacture.

Prior to joining the Industry team, he worked in CMAC as a Project Technician and progressed to Project Scientist as part of the Digital Medicines Manufacturing team, working on the development of an autonomous microscale system for drug product manufacture. Jonny gained a BSc from Loughborough University in Human Biology with a focus on exercise performance and physiological function in 2018. Following this he worked within the private sector before completing his MSc in Advanced Pharmaceutical Manufacturing at Strathclyde before joining CMAC in 2021.
