David Booth
Senior Particle Scientist
University of Strathclyde
David is a senior particle scientist working in the National Facility team at CMAC, leading a team in developing and delivering particle process projects for industry clients. David’s interest is in solving particle engineering problems, whether that be batch or continuous, crystalline or amorphous.
Before joining CMAC, David was part of and led the crystallisation team for a pharmaceutical CDMO for over 5 years, working on a range of projects for clients; everything from early-stage initial crystallisation development, late-stage process optimisation, and post-launch troubleshooting. His background is in chemical engineering, with a PhD in crystallisation from the University of Leeds.
