Christoph is the Analysis Team Lead and responsible for the characterisation of physical and chemical properties of samples, provided from within the facility or by external partners.

Christoph completed his doctorate in Chemistry on the topic of molecular magnetism at the University of Heidelberg (Germany) and joined Glasgow University as a post-doctoral researcher. At Glasgow University he worked in several multidisciplinary projects and later took on a position as a RSE Personal Research Fellow.
