Anu is the senior researcher in the Advanced Characterisation team at CMAC. She develops techniques and methodologies to support material and process chracterisation at each unit operation using synchrotron X-ray techniques.

Anu joined CMAC in 2018 following two PDRA positions with the ‘Metastable materials project’ at University of Bath (2017 -18) and the Synthesis and Solidstate Pharamaceutical centre at Ireland (2014 – 2017). She also worked as a teaching fellow at the Nano DTC at the University of Cambridge (2014), following her PhD (2010- 13) from the Department of Chemistry at the University of Cambridge. She is an expert in X-ray pair distribution function analysis, imaging, crystallography and Raman spectroscopy. She develops methodlogies for in situ, in operando and non-ambient studies of materials, surfaces and processes in solution.
